The classic bright titanium zinc is used for roofing, façade cladding and for roof drainage. In the atmosphere, it forms a matt, grey-blue patina. Not least for that reason, titanium zinc is regarded as a "living material”. |
After rolling, the (bright rolled) titanium zinc is subjected to a pre-weathering process. This specially developed surface treatment method produces the desired grey tone, which is very close to the natural patina. (The process does not involve painting or other coating). Thus, the user is guaranteed of uniform surface characteristics. |
The classic building material, titanium zinc, in a completely new, attractive presentation. Here too, an unusual satin, anthracite-coloured appearance is produced by pre-weathering (i.e. not by painting). A whole range of new applications and design possibilities are thus created for architects. |

QUARTZ zinc and ANTHRA zinc can be processed with normal craftsman's techniques for titanium zinc, since the "typical zinc properties” are preserved. This means that edging, bending, folding, rounding etc. are still possible. Also, soldered joints can be made without any difficulty by adding our special liquid flux DECA QUARTZ. |
